 Children's Mass

 

Each second Sunday of the month, Father Jerold invites the children of the parish to lead the 9am Mass at the Assumption of Our Lady Church, in Maldon. The children share the word of God and lead the congregation in prayer. In school, we practise the hymns to sing during the mass and have even been joined by some of the church musicians.

Pentecost - Sunday 8th June 2025

 

Pentecost takes place on the 49th day after Easter. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles of Jesus, Mary, and other followers of the Christ, while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in the Acts of the Apostles.

We recently celebrated Pentecost at the Assumption of Our Lady Church, Maldon,  with a service led by Father Jerold.
